Then let hogbitz play with it!
This a stock 1997 883 Sportster that has only seen 1200 miles on the road, sitting in a garage for most of its life has had a negative effect, some of the paintwork has gone to rust on some of the joins and the aluminium has some serious pitting. We Dyno tested the stock bike and came up with 45bhp at the rear wheel.

First things first...Stripping the bikes bodywork off to go to the Paint Shop for its new racing look
Getting to work with Autosol Aluminium cleaner on the wheels, plenty of elbow grease is needed to get the pitting into shape
Taking the barrels off to have them stripped bead blasted and bored.
The Lightning heads waiting for the new valves to be lapped in.
The valves lapped in and the barrels bored ready for the new 1200cc flat top pistons. Installation of the new Andrews cams, Dyna 2000 ignition module and the S&S Super E Shorty will make this bike go like stink
The new Hagon shocks lower the rear end two inches for a more sporty look and some better handling of course and dropping the front forks 1 1/4 inches through the yokes makes the bike stand really well
With the new paintwork on the whole project is really taking shape she looks so mean
Our 883r conversions in all their glory with 90+ bhp at the rear wheel
