One other BIG advantage: by reprogramming the stock ECU, you can go to every authorized HD dealer or service shop in the world to service or diagnose your bike, they know the ECU and they are trained to service that ECU. Very little dealers or shops have knowledge about aftermarket ECU`s.

With Direct Link you can even disable the use of the intake air valve and active exhaust valve on HDI models without triggering an engine failure code. So you don`t need those trick boxes or resistors anymore.
