The build up for the pro custom show was a little hectic. As we had never experienced one before, we hoped everything was packed as we headed off on Thursday morning. Arriving at Doncaster race course some five hours later we built the stand which all ran very smoothly, beer o'clock approached with an appreciated hurry. The trade day was a little disappointing as the lack of traders was quite apparent, the bash in the Earl Hotel was good if not a tad loud for those of us that wanted to talk shop. We hoped for better things on Saturday and were rewarded by a good turn out from the general public. By god it was beer o' clock again so a quick wash and brush up and off for a Ruby Murray Curry for those of you who aren't familiar with cockney rime. One of the best curry's I've had for a long time the Taj just up the road from the the Earl if you fancy a good one. Sunday's turn out was equally good if not better for us any rate because we had booked some models to brighten up the stand the following pictures will save me righting reams. I'd like to thank all the people that made us so welcome especially the folk down at the Rugby club for looking after our caravan.
